FAQ About the Corn Maze

Q: Do I have to pay to enter the corn maze or the play area even if I’m only there to supervise my child?

Yes, the entrance fee applies to everyone entering the maze grounds.

Q: Do you accept Walk-ins?

Yes we do. Come along to our entrance and buy your tickets there. No need to book online.

Q: Is the Corn Maze and U-Pick Stroller Friendly?

Small wheeled strollers may be hard to push in the corn maze and in the orchard – best to bring a large wheel one, or a carrying device for small children.

Q: Are pets allowed on the farm?

We are pet friendly! Your pet must be on a leash at all times and you must clean up after them. Pets are not allowed on the wagons or in the haunted house.

Q: When is the best time to go apple picking in Nova Scotia?

Nova Scotia has an amazing climate for growing apples. It is best to come in late September early October.  This is when all of the apples growing in our U-Pick will be ripe and ready to pick!

Q: Do I have to pay admission to pick Apples or Pumpkins?

No, if you are coming for pick your own Apple or Pumpkins you simply pay for what you pick. You are able to purchase U-Pick apple bags in our “U-Pick Central” building before you head down to the orchard.

Q: How do we get down to the U-Pick Orchard?

We have a beautiful foot path down to our U-pick that takes 5-10 minutes to walk. On Saturday and Sunday we have tractor drawn wagons that you can take to the orchard.

Q: Is there a place to buy food while at the farm?

We have a food truck on site which is open on weekends only. It supplies local pork Sausages, corn on the cob (seasonally) and buttered toast as well bakery snacks.  Kismit Kettle Corn and The Cake Lady will be at the corn maze some week-ends. You can also purchase local products from our farm market.

Q: Do U-pick Tickets reserve spots on the wagons?

Booking tickets does not reserve the wagons or spots on the wagons. It reserves space in the U-Pick Orchard. The wagons run on 10-30 minute intervals. No pets are not allowed on the wagon.

Q: If the weather is bad can we get a refund or change the time of our ticket?

The Noggins Corn Maze and U-pick runs rain or shine! No refunds/reservation changes will be given this season. Refunds will only be given if we close due to weather. We will be donating all unused bookings to our Food Box program giving food to those in need.

Q: Do you have a haunted house?

We have a haunted house on site run by DARTNS (Disaster Animal Response Team Nova Scotia). A portion of our admission go towards this hard working group. DARTNS haunted house is open only in the month of October.

Q: How do I book online?

Go to our booking page, select which day you would like to come. Then select your activity and what timeslot you would like to do it at. After you have placed the order, you should receive a confirmation email and one with scannable tickets. Please have the QR codes ready for us to scan and get you checked in!

  • If doing the Corn Maze, simply select how many slots you would need. When you arrive for your booking go to the Red Admission building to get your tickets scanned and be given your bracelets and Maze map.
  • If doing the U-pick, select your bag sizes and how many you would like, then how many are in your group. When you arrive for your booking, go to the “U-Pick Central” shed at the end of the parking lot to get your tickets scanned and given your bags!
